Lisa Taikitsadaporn, Managing Partner

Lisa Taikitsadaporn, known as “Lisa T.” to many who have worked with her, is well respected for her knowledge on issues relating to electronic trading, connectivity and FIX implementation.  In 2001, she co-authored the FIX Protocol Fixed Income Gap Analysis that is the foundation of the FIX 4.4 fixed income specification.  She is an active participant in the FIX Protocol community, chairing the Global Fixed Income Technical Subcommittee, serving on the Global Technical Committee’s Governance Board and on the editorial board of quarterly FIXGlobal journal.  She is a contributing member of several other FIX committees and working groups.  Additionally, she is the current editor of the FIX Protocol Specification.  She currently consults to buy-side, sell-side firms, product vendors and ATS/ECNs, on FIX implementation and connectivity for equity, fixed income, foreign exchange and clearing.  Lisa has over 15 years of experience with the FIX Protocol and electronic trading implementations.

Prior to co-founding Brook Path Partners, Inc., Lisa was an integral member of Thomson Financial’s TradeRoute (an order routing network) product team for seven years.  She managed and supported TradeRoute’s and Autex’s FIX connectivity solution in addition to providing FIX business analysis and software quality assurance support to the internal product development teams for both TradeRoute and AutEx.

Lisa earned her Master of Science in Finance from the McCallum Graduate School of Business at Bentley University (formerly Bentley College) in Waltham, Massachusetts, and her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Management Information Systems from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Robert Stowsky, Managing Partner

Robert Stowsky has been a consultant to the investment industry since 1988 advising buy-side and sell-side firms, custodians, service providers and software vendors on implementing technology solutions for front, middle and back office operations.  He also consults to regulators and industry trade groups on the use of data standards in regulatory reporting.  He has primarily focused on OTC Derivatives across all asset classes.  His project experience includes the design and implementation of  message based architectures for market data distribution, portfolio and trade management and integration of front and back office systems. He currently advises firms on implementing FIX, FIXML and FpML to meet regulatory reporting requirements associated with Dodd-Frank legislation. He also is a frequent contributor to leading industry publications and is a regular presenter at industry conferences.

Robert has been a member of the ISDA Financial Products Markup Language (FpML) Standards Committee, Co-Chair of the FIX Global Derivatives Technical Subcommittee and the ISO 20022 Technical Support Group.

Previous to his work in financial technology, Robert worked for what is now part of Raytheon on target recognition and image-based guidance systems, and for Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) on reduced instruction set computing (RISC).

Robert is a graduate of the High Technology MBA program at Northeastern University in Boston, MA.

Tom Brown, Associate Partner

Tom Brown is a well-regarded leader in financial industry standards and brings over 30 years of infrastructure, brokerage, consulting and global custody expertise to Brook Path Partners.

Tom’s industry leadership is extensive, including current roles as a Director of ISITC, a member of the ISO 20022 Registration Management Group, Executive Sponsor of the ISITC Reference Data & Standards and Industry Initiatives Working Groups, Vice Chairman of ANSI X9D, a member of the Standards Coordination Group and multiple FIX Protocol Ltd. committees and working groups. Additionally, Tom is a member of the FpML Standards and AMF Derivatives Operations committees.

Prior to joining Brook Path Partners, Tom was employed by Omgeo for 6 years, preceded by 5 years with Fidelity Investments. Earlier, Tom spent 2 years in consulting for Exodus Communications and 14 years with Brown Brothers Harriman in Boston and Luxembourg. Tom began his career in brokerage, spending 5 years with Merrill Lynch and National Financial Services.
