FpML-Complete

A methodology for implementing FpML to automate processing of OTC Derivatives.

Overview:

FpML-Complete is a package of consulting services specifically designed to help customers implement the FpML protocol for any asset type supported by the FpML 4.0, or later, specification, including equity, interest rate, credit and foreign exchange OTC derivatives.

FpML-Complete covers the use of FpML including the FpML Messaging Architecture for
matching, affirmation, confirmation and allocations.

FpML-Complete utilizes a methodology for implementing the FpML protocol that addresses a customer's overall trading infrastructure and workflow.

  Educate the end users on how electronic trade processing impacts the day to day operations of traders and support personnel in the front, middle and back office.

  Develop a high level strategy and design that focus on defining clear business goals for how FpML will be used and addressing internal infrastructure and external connectivity issues.
• Business Analysis
  Define new workflows and provide a data map between existing, or planned, systems and the FpML protocol.
• Project Definition
  Determine what work will be done by the customer's internal, or external, development staff and what products will be supplied by vendors.
• Product Selection
  Select FpML related applications that best match the strategic goals and system environment.
• Focused Development
  Provide guidance and reviews of work done by the customer's internal, or external, development staff in addition to reviewing end user documentation and procedures.
• Testing Strategy
  Create a comprehensive test strategy for both internal and end-to-end testing with counterparties to ensure the meeting of requirements for functionality, reliability and performance.
• Implementation
  Resolve any conflicts with counterparties resulting from differing interpretations of the FpML protocol specification.
