Robert Stowsky, President & CEO
Robert Stowsky has been a consultant to the investment
industry since 1988 advising buy-side and sell-side firms, custodians
and software vendors on implementing technology solutions for front,
middle and back office operations. His clients have included J.
P. Morgan, State Street Corporation, UBS, National Westminster Bank,
Putnam Investments, Thomson Financial and Sungard. His project experience
includes the design and implementation of Web and message based
architectures for market data distribution, portfolio and trade
management and integration of front and back office systems. He
currently advises firms on strategic technology issues ranging from
implementing straight-through processing (STP) for equity, fixed
income and derivative instruments to identifying system requirements
for meeting FASB 133 accounting and reporting standards. He also is a frequent
contributor to leading industry publications and is a regular presenter at industry
conferences.
Robert is a member of the ISDA Financial Products Markup Language (FpML) Standards Committee
and is Co-Chair of the FIX Global Derivatives Technical Subcommittee. He also is Co-Chair of
the FPL-ISDA/FpML Collaboration Working Group that is focusing on
interoperability between the FIX and FpML protocols.
Previous to his work in financial technology,
Robert worked for what is now part of Raytheon on target recognition
and image-based guidance systems, and for Advanced Micro Devices
(AMD) on reduced instruction set computing (RISC).
Robert is a graduate of the High
Technology MBA program at Northeastern University in Boston, MA.
Lisa Taikitsadaporn, Executive Vice President &
COO
Lisa Taikitsadaporn, known as Lisa T. to many who have worked with her,
is well respected for her knowledge on issues relating to electronic
trading and connectivity. Her experience with the FIX protocol began when
she was an integral member of Thomson Financials TradeRoute product team.
In the ten years since then, she has been repeatedly recognized for her
expertise in FIX protocol implementation. She currently advises buy-side
and sell-side firms, in addition to product vendors and ATS/ECNs, on FIX
implementation and connectivity for equity and fixed income trading.
Lisa is an active participant in the FIX protocol community. She is a
contributing member of the FIX Protocol Global Technical Committee, the
Global Fixed Income Technical Subcommittee, and the FIX ISO XML Working
Group. She co-authored the "Fixed Income Gap Analysis" document that is the
foundation of the FIX 4.4 fixed income specification.
Prior to Thomson Financial, Lisa was a Software
QA Engineer at Progress Software. She was part of a team of QA engineers
responsible for creating and maintaining test automation suites
for internal product testing efforts.
Lisa earned her MS in Finance from Bentley College
in Waltham, MA, and her BS in Computer Science and Management Information
Systems from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) in Worcester, MA.
